Lithuania’s National Energy Regulatory Council issued the development permit (resolution No O3E-473).
The project was awarded financing from the European Union Modernisation Fund under a measure administered by APVA.
The construction authorisation required to move the project into its delivery phase was issued.
Construction began at the project site at 37B Jurbarko Street in Raseiniai.
Battery modules, power conversion systems and other essential energy storage equipment arrived on site.
The principal construction and system preparation works are scheduled for completion.
The generation permit is planned after testing and grid connection procedures are completed.
