Future energy, UAB is implementing a large-scale electricity storage project in Raseiniai. Funding was awarded under an APVA-administered measure supporting the balancing of the electricity system.
An investment in a more flexible and reliable energy system.
The system will support faster responses to grid needs, enable more wind and solar generation and provide balancing reserves. Its three-hour storage duration will strengthen the resilience of Lithuania’s power system.
